A clarity-led approach to structured visual evidence for legal, regulatory, and technical work

How we work with you

We work in close alignment with legal teams, expert witnesses, and investigative specialists, ensuring visual evidence remains accurate, traceable, and fit for formal examination. This collaborative approach balances clarity with evidential discipline.

Our approach is formalised through S.E.E. → Scope, Establish and Enable.

It ensures that every project moves through a controlled sequence of stages, keeping the work accurate, ordered, and ready for examination.

Identifies the factual ground and determines where visualisation will strengthen the case. All available material is reviewed, including technical documents, expert reports, photography, diagrams, and statements. Site visits may be necessary where a deeper understanding of physical conditions is required.

Scope can also be commissioned as a standalone stage to support early case assessment.

Defines the strategy and outlines how the incident will be visualised. The requirements for presenting environments, mechanics, operations, and reconstructions are agreed with the legal team and experts. Scripts and storyboards are created, and all reference material is catalogued so each visual element remains accurate and traceable.

Produces the final visual material in accordance with the agreed structure. Animation, filmed sequences, and supporting assets are created, maintaining full traceability to the catalogued source material. All outputs are made available for secure online review.

How our approach was shaped

Our extensive work with legal teams, experts, and investigators has shown precisely where visual material becomes vulnerable. The issues rarely stem from the facts themselves, but from how those facts are organised and presented for examination.

S.E.E. was developed to place evidential structure ahead of production. The early stages ensure that critical information is understood, correctly collated, and agreed before any visual work begins, and the final stage maintains that control through to completion. This protects the accuracy of the case material and supports clarity when scrutiny is at its highest.

When structured information becomes clear visual evidence

Our Foundations

Incident Films is built on a strong technical lineage. Our experience lies in managing complex visual material for prominent global television productions, where precision and technical structure are non negotiable.

That expertise translates directly to the legal and regulatory sectors, where visual problem solving carries consequence. We support technical understanding and evidential discipline when clarity is a legal necessity, not an aesthetic preference.

If you are considering visual support for an upcoming case, we can review the material and outline the most effective approach.
